Components of Truss Type Bridge Girder Launcher
Main truss structure: The main truss structure, often called the launching gantry, serves as the backbone of the launcher. It's a large steel framework with a triangular or rectangular cross-section, designed to provide stability and support for the heavy loads.
Lifting system: The lifting system is composed of multiple hoists or winches that are connected to the main truss structure. It is responsible for raising, lowering, and positioning the bridge girders or segments during the construction process.
Longitudinal and transverse moving systems: These systems enable the girder launcher to move along the axis of the bridge (longitudinal movement) and laterally across the bridge span (transverse movement). They can be powered by hydraulic or electric motors and are often mounted on rails or crawlers.
Supporting system: The supporting system includes the piers, abutments, or temporary supports that hold the launcher in position during the construction process. Sometimes, the launcher has its own support legs or outriggers to maintain stability.
Control system: The control system oversees the overall operation of the girder launcher, including the coordination of the lifting, moving, and supporting systems. It typically involves both manual and automated controls to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Packing and Delivery
Packing methods:
1. Electric parts are packed by high quality plywood crate, to reduce distortion in conveying;
2. Main beams, end beams and electric hoist are packed by plastic woven cloth. It can reduce abrasion when transport.
Delivery methods:
1. If the size of 150 ton concrete T beam launcher are suitable for container ship, usually by container;
2. If the size is too big, usually by bulk ship or by container after truncation; Transport ways are based on reducing cost for you and keep the crane performance.
Delivery time:
Within 30 to 40 working days after the receipt of deposit.
Transportation:
generally 35 days to 50 days to destination port.
